In a matter of days, Liberians (at home and abroad) will once again
have an opportunity to pause and soberly reflect on an important day in
the history of our Nation. On August 24, we as a nation and people,
regardless of our social, political, religious or ethnic affiliation
will come together, under God’s command to celebrate our 161st
National Flag Day.

Dr. H. Boima Fahnbulleh Jr. indicated that the poor and the elites
would always fight each other to capture political power. He made the
remarks at the hearing of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission
(TRC). Such a fight for economic dividends also occurred in Italy,
France, Russia, Great Britain, the United States of America, etc, but
receded only after political leaders reached deals, which allowed
governments to allocate money for education, etc.

Our attention is seriously drawn to the manner and form the contract was allegedly canceled. We believe that issues regarding cancellation of a Legal Contract should have been affected by the Management of the National Port Authority after exhausting all and every possible means without inflicting injury to the existing contract consistent with the rule of law. In part one , the economic analysis of dual citizenship discussed the
pareto criterion and recognized that social cost is negative to grant
dual citizenship for economic benefits. We were exposed to the
intrinsic paucity in the dual citizenship’s claimed of economic

While we are searching for the truth, the Movement for the Defense of
the Down-Trodden Strongly believes that this can only be achieved when
those charged with the responsibility to steer this process are void of
emotional, personal and partisan alignment. Furthermore, the Movement
would like to use this medium remind commissioners of the TRC about a
legal axiom which says that “HE WHO COMES TO EQUITY MUST COME WITH
CLEAN HANDS”.

The proponents of dual citizenship insist that traditional Liberians
will gain economic benefit if such a law existed. Thus, this analysis
adopts Ronald Coase Therom, which remains a foundational premise to
explore LAW as an institutional framework for understanding the
principle of economic efficiency.

"Go red for China” was the slogan unveiled on the Chinese mainland by Pepsi-Cola whose ubiquitous blue can will, for limited time be red.
Pepsi is just one of many companies advertising at the Olympics, at a cost up to $ 6 billion in an attempt to tap a largely untouched market or more than $ 1 billion. This is the Olympics the West wanted

While
I must commend the national orator at Liberia’s 161st independence
anniversary for overcoming physical setbacks and acknowledging that
through the help of slain Liberian Leader William R. Tolbert, he was
able to achieve his academic goals, the speech again dwelled on
re-writing the history rather than building upon the solid foundations
provided by Liberia’s founding fathers.

What we find inconceivable and very disturbing is that, for a Director
in such reputable government which has won so many international
accolades for non-violence will choose to stoop so low and result to
gangsterism. Today, his actions have left many observers to view the A.
M. E. University as a gangster paradise and an epicenter for chaos. In
fact, the police may give its account of the scenario and pictorials of
its wounded officers.
To place it bluntly, Mr. Dopoh action amounted to incivility at the
highest order. We can provide you pictures of wounded students
including our outgoing chairman.

For the first time in decades perhaps century, Liberians at home and in
the diasporas have the opportunity to speak from the core of their
hearts without the fear of a “Never to return” (NTR) arrest. For the
first time, victims of rape, isolation, starvation, and other heinous
crimes, now have the chance to name the names of perpetrators without
any form of fear. For the very first time in the history of mama
Liberia, We (Liberians) chose dialogue over confrontation.
