OPEN LETTER TO BISHOP MATTHEW GUEH

Albert Andrews ~ (OCtober 22nd 2005)

"...I find it quite disturbing to believe that you could advocate, as reported recently in the Liberian media, for a president who is as incompetent and unknowledgeable as Mr. Weah. One reason is what you all stand to gain personally from him as president. I know for a fact that Weah’s mother is a member of your church....”

Dear Bishop Gueh,

It is so unbelievable that you will opt for an incompetent leadership. The one that George Weah will surely provide should he succeed in becoming president of Liberia. I find it quite disturbing to believe that you could advocate, as reported recently in the Liberian media, for a president who is as incompetent and unknowledgeable as Mr. Weah. One reason is what you all stand to gain personally from him as president. I know for a fact that Weah’s mother is a member of your church.

You crown your insensitivity toward the development of Liberia by saying that a qualified and competent candidate like Ellen Johnson Sirleaf should step down because a mother should not be fighting her son. Why do you guys hate Liberia so much? How can you as a religious figure placed incompetence above capability? I know you from yours days as principal of EC
school. Did you just jump out of the sky to become bishop of EC Church? Or did you learn
you way through to the top? Would you want to become a church member with no theocratic education and experience to become a bishop of your church?

I want you and all those hollering for Weah to understand that the compass that he is using will surely lead him in the wrong direction and that the the Liberian people will finally see the skeletons in his closet. I hope that when this happens our country does not follow that compass.

Yours,
Albert Andrews
